2021 has been a tough year for manufacturers that need computer chips for their products. Due to the pandemic, many people began working from home in 2020, which caused a surge in electronics purchases, leading to suppliers running low on laptops, desktops, phones, big-screen TVs, and gaming consoles. Now all of those things need to be replenished. The computer chips used in those products are in low supply as there is insufficient supply to meet demand. This shortage is causing all of our orders across most manufacturers to be delayed up to 12 weeks in some cases. Although we order most of our products by forecasting what is needed, those orders are delayed because of chip shortages. We continue to work with all of our suppliers to get your order in a soon as we possibly can, and as soon as your order arrives, we will contact you with its availability.
